What is Improv for Kids?

Improvisation is a radical and progressive mechanism to engage with children.

For every word that we communicate in writing we use a thousand or more words in spoken activity. A young person can present themselves much better if they have spoken English skills and are confident with spoken English.

Human beings are social animals, never more so than when they are young.

By presenting them with opportunities to engage socially, and achieve confidence in the use of spoken English, improvisation offers a very special dynamic to succeed.

The way the English language is taught is often so formal that it discourages students. Spoken English can be spontaneous whilst at the same time offering comfort giving children confidence to engage and to develop their engagement.

One can just as easily learn to think in paragraphs, by regular development of oratorical skills.

There is absolutely no reason why education need not be fun. Various studies have proven that young people who enjoy what their doing, learn quicker and more comprehensively.
